We all have to start thinking about our own emotions in a very real way when we first fall asleep. That includes you when you’re in the throes of a nightmare. That’s when you have to think about how you’re feeling rather than how you’re acting. It’s the same with self-awareness. You have to stop acting. Start acting. This is a big deal.
We have to start thinking about how we feel and not just how we act and this is why the study of our emotions is a huge topic in psychology and neuroscience. We have to stop thinking about what is and what is not real and start thinking about what is. We have to stop acting like we are doing something when we are not. This is a big deal.
This is why I think that we should start thinking about what we are and not just what we are feeling. It is harder to change our feelings than it is to change our actions. I think this is why so many of us are in the habit of taking our actions out of our control. We have it good and we feel like we have control over what is happening, or what is happening to us.
