halloween costumes for dads

Halloween costumes are quite popular during the holidays and I have heard that many fathers are purchasing their own halloween costumes for their children. I had a friend this weekend who had a son who was the biggest halloween kid in the entire world. I knew he was going to buy his own costumes for his son, but had never heard him mention them specifically. I was curious how much these costumes cost and found out that they were $150 per costume.

You can go as a character and get a costume that fits you, or you can go all out and buy dozens of costumes for them all in one go (which will certainly cost you a fortune!). As a kid I loved the original Harry Potter costumes, but I remember when I would go to a costume store with my friends that were dressed up as Harry or Hermione because they were so much cooler. There is nothing more to a costume than the clothes and a mask.

In recent years, there’s been a lot of talk about dads dressing up for Halloween and going as their children. This is all for a good cause though. You should think about dressing up as your kids to do just that. I mean if you are the dad of a girl, you can dress her up like a boy and dress up as your child’s best friend to make him or her feel special.

A dad can make an effort to dress up as his daughter or his wife. It is important both in the spirit of your family’s relationship and for his own self-awareness. Many fathers have done this and are proud of their efforts. A few have taken on the responsibility of dressing up as a random person from the internet. This is a very silly idea and not something I would recommend to anyone.
