This is the lamp my wife and I made using old office supplies. It’s a simple, functional, and very cheap lamp. The only thing I changed was the base, which we made from some old foam scraps.

This is an easier task than you may think. The wall outlet is an AC outlet, so to plug into it you only need the power cord. It will only take a few seconds to plug your phone into the wall.
