I don’t expect to be in this industry forever. It’s a tough industry in any industry, and unless you have a college degree in photography, it won’t be an easy one to break into. But being in the industry may be one of the best things that will happen to you. You’ll find yourself having more control over every aspect of how you work.
It seems like most of my fellow speeders would agree that there is no such thing as a “good” job. To each their own, but I’m having trouble seeing how they would find the industry much more fulfilling than, say, the auto industry. I think that there is a reason why the auto industry has such a bad rap, and maybe we should take a lesson from that.
In the industry, we can get paid a premium for work that could have been done by a lot of people for a lot less money. I think this is a huge perk and one that will last us for a long time. Just like the fact that we get the best and most accurate car-sales data on the planet, we also get to do a ton of other work that only a few would be able to do.
Sure, for the auto industry, the perks are obvious. It’s less obvious that a large majority of the work that is done by the people who work in that industry is done by companies that actually make cars. This is because the cars that are made are the cars that people buy from these companies. That’s not to say that the owners of these companies are the only people who make cars. It’s just that the owners of these companies make the cars that we buy.
I think the work we do as a game industry is a lot more interesting and important than the auto industry. In my estimation, the work we do in games is so much more interesting and important than the work we do in the auto industry. It’s also so much more important because of the sheer volume of work we do. Most companies are small and scrappy and have a hard time getting the work done that they need to make a living. But the work we do is enormous.
In our industry, a lot of our work is outsourced. The game developers that work on a game that is in development, or on a game that is ready for production, have to go out and find people to do the work. Usually it’s a handful of people, and they work at odd hours, and they don’t see their families, and they don’t make any money.
Outsourcing can be a good thing, but there are downsides. One of the downsides is that it creates a culture of “perks.” This is when an employee goes out on a “side project” to earn a few extra bucks. The perks can be nice, but it also makes people who work “perks” lazy. Lazy employees are more prone to do sloppy work, take shortcuts, and make mistakes.
Companies pay people to work, so they hire the people who make the products. There are other jobs, but this one is the most obvious. The other jobs are the ones that are done for the money. People who work for companies are generally not the ones that make the products, so they dont make the products either, so it doesnt make sense for them to be there, and it makes sense for them to be doing something else.
Speed is a common thread in many industries. The reason is that it offers a lot of advantages. People have a lot of money to spend on their own time, they can get good paid jobs, they can go on vacation, etc. At the same time they want to put back into the business as much as they can.
Speed and quality are two different things, though. It’s easy to say that speed is the most important factor in the quality of a product, but that is a bit of an oversimplification. A lot of people do really good work, but it doesn’t make much sense for a company to pay their employees so that they can make the best quality product possible.
