Our hotel industry is no exception. The best way to ensure your brand has a lasting impression on hotel guests is to create a relationship between your brand and the people who live and work there.

The hotel industry has always been one of the most technology-driven industries in the world, so its not too surprising that it has been one of the most tech-forward industries in the last few decades (this is one of the reasons why I loved my job so much). But the industry has also always had a more general technology focus. In the hotel industry, its not just about technology, but a general focus on technology.
The whole industry has always been very technology-focused. Most of my career was in the hospitality industry. When I started my career in hospitality, I was the guy who showed up at the front desk of the very first hotel I ever worked at and asked if I could look at the computer. I was so excited to see where this industry was going, I went and saw all the hotels that were still on the ground floor of hotels like the Waldorf Astoria.
I used to think, and my wife and I thought this was a great idea, that we’d be able to use technology to make hotels more comfortable and efficient. But as we were going through the process of getting one of our companies up and running, the more we looked at the systems that were in place, the more we saw that they were really outdated.
I went through a huge amount of research, and I came to the conclusion that hotels are a perfect example of how technological systems need to be updated. They’re not all that different from a typical business-to-business website. In fact, I’m not even sure that they’re ever that different.
