I have said it before, but I think the best way to figure out if you should move in is to take a good hard look at the pros and cons of the move.
Moving in is a huge deal, but the amount of things you can do to improve your home and make it more enjoyable are far greater. And they’re all things that you can do without spending anything.
Before I moved here, I lived in my parents’ house for two years. I loved the house, the neighborhood, the school, but I was a bit of a perfectionist. I would try to paint every surface of the house and keep the floors in perfect condition. I would also do all of the work to keep the lawns beautiful. I would be an obsessive perfectionist and wouldn’t let anyone get close to my house.
